THE SPACE

 
 

The Storefront is a design gallery and event space, located in the Riversdale neighbourhood of Saskatoon, which offers affordable and contemporary rent-able space for business owners, artists, designers, community organizations and private events. Our mandate is to support local designers, artists and architecture related events.

The open space, layout options, cost efficient rate packages, central location and amenities make it an ideal spot to host a variety of events. The perfect space for pop-up shops, workshops, photo shoots, event launches, community meetings and gallery exhibitions. A clean, bright and modern event space to help promote your business or create the perfect setting to host your event.

Situated in the vibrant Riversdale neighbourhood, the Storefront is just a short walk to 20th Street and downtown Saskatoon. The design district of 20th Street offers award winning restaurants, art galleries, contemporary retail shops, theatres and local cafes. Mixing the cultural heritage of the community and the local start-ups, Riversdale is one of Saskatoon's "must-visit" neighbourhoods.

MONTHLY COWORKING MEMBERSHIP $200/month

Shared Work Space membership

  • Use of the space during regular business hours along with other members
  • Includes 10 hours of meeting room use per month
  • Includes 100 sheets printing per month
  • free WIFI

  • Discounted weekend and evening event rates
  • $100/month for secondary members
  • 6 month membership terms, must have insurance

MONTHLY ARTISAN MEMBERSHIP $250/month

Workshop/Exhibition/Studio membership - individual or group

  • Use of the space on weekday evenings and weekends
  • First come, first serve shared booking calendar
  • Includes one Saturday and one Sunday per month and 3 weekday evenings per month - negotiable
  • 500 sq ft of useable open concept space
  • Kitchen (double sink, 16' counter, mini fridge, hot plate)
  • 30 chairs
  • 7 tables (5 @ 24"x48" & 2 @ 24"x80")
  • EPSON projector, screen & Apple TV connection
  • two washrooms (1 barrier-free)
  • Free street parking
  • Full security and video system
  • Back loading access
  • Flexible lighting solutions (studio spotlights, overhead Edison bulbs & Edison string lights)
  • Movable coat rack
  • Two movable gallery walls

  • 500 sq ft of useable event space
  • Friday 6pm - Sunday 7pm (inclusive set-up and takedown)
